1. Remove three bolts (Figure 3, Item 1) and washers (Figure 3, Item 2) from main control housing (Figure 3,
Item 3).
2. Loosen setscrew (Figure 3, Item 6) in collar (Figure 3, Item 8).
3. Place a punch or drift in hole (Figure 3, Item 7) of collar (Figure 3, Item 8) and strike with hammer in
counterclockwise direction. Position collar away from bearing (Figure 3, Item 10).
4. Remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 4), washers (Figure 3, Item 5), and retainers (Figure 3, Item 9) from bearing
(Figure 3, Item 10) and steering control housing (Figure 3, Item 12).
5. Remove steering control shaft (Figure 3, Item 11) from steering control housing (Figure 3, Item 12).
