ENGINE CONTINUED
2. ENGINE CANNOT REACH TOP ENGINE RPM.
Step 1.
Check for diagnostic codes.
a.
If diagnostic codes are present, notify Field Maintenance.
b.
If no diagnostic codes are present, go to Step 2.
Step 2.
Check air filters (WP 0013).
a.
Clean or replace air filters (WP 0013).
b.
If problem persists, go to Step 3.
Step 3.
Check fuel supply.
a.
Add fuel (WP 0012).
b.
Ensure both fuel supply valves are in full OPEN position (WP 0004).
c.
Verify fuel is not solidified (ambient temperatures below 32F [0C].
d.
If problem persists, notify Field Maintenance.
3. ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START.
Step 1.
Verify parking brake is engaged and transmission control switch is in NEUTRAL position.
a.
Engage parking brake and move left joystick to HOLD position.
b.
If problem persists, go to Step 2.
Step 2.
Check for diagnostic codes.
a.
If diagnostic codes are present, notify Field Maintenance.
b.
If there are no diagnostic codes, go to Step 3.
Step 3.
Check air filters (WP 0013).
a.
Clean or replace air filters (WP 0013).
b.
If problem persists, go to Step 4.
Step 4.
Verify fuel level.
a.
Add fuel as necessary (WP 0012).
b.
If problem persists, go to Step 5.
Step 5.
Check circuit breakers.
a.
Reset circuit breakers (WP 0017).
b.
If problem persists, notify Field Maintenance.
