If CBRN exposure is suspected, personnel wearing protective equipment should handle
all air cleaner media. Consult your CBRN Officer or CBRN NCO for appropriate handling
or disposal procedures.
In the event of CBRN contamination, see FM 3-11.5,Multiservice Tactics, Techniques, and
CBRN-contaminated filters must be handled using adequate precautions and must be
disposed of by trained personnel.
Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or death to personnel.
1. Disengage four latches (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove air filter cover (Figure 1, Item 2) from air filter housing
assembly (Figure 1, Item 3).
