Wait at least 30 seconds for diagnostic codes to become active.
5. Using MSD (WP 0016), select
1797-03 Remains Active - Pro-
engine ECM C6.6 D6K, and
ceed to Test Step 3.
check if diagnostic code 1797-
1797-04 Becomes Active - ECM
04 is active.
and signal circuit test OK, sensor
is faulty. Replace fuel rail pressure
sensor (WP 0059).
Remove jumper wire from E-C6
(WP 0018, Figure 107) terminal 3
and terminal 2.
Connect E-C6 (WP 0018,
Figure 107) to fuel rail pressure
sensor.
Verify proper operation of machine
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
Test Step 3: Test Harness Sig-
nal Circuit.
1. Turn ignition switch and bat-
tery disconnect switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Leave jumper wire at harness
connector E-C6 (WP 0018,
Figure 107) terminal 2 and ter-
minal 3 in place.
3. Disconnect engine ECM har-
ness connector E-C1
(WP 0018, Figure 102) from
engine ECM J2.
