Always inspect harness connectors that are involved in circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of an electrical circuit
problem. Verify that all connections in circuit are clean and
secure, and connections are in good condition. If a problem with
a connection is found, correct the problem and verify diagnostic
code is active before performing this procedure.
Tag wiring harnesses to aid installation.
Select engine ECM C6.6 D6K.
2. Start and run engine (TM 5-
2410-240-10), and verify
1797-04 is active.
3. Turn ignition switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
4. Disconnect fuel rail pressure
sensor harness connector
5. Start and run engine (TM 5-
2410-240-10).

rail pressure sensor is faulty.
Replace fuel rail pressure sensor
(WP 0054). Verify proper operation
of machine (TM 5-2410-240-10).
Test Step 2: Test Harness Sig-
nal Circuit.
1. Turn ignition switch and bat-
tery disconnect switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Disconnect harness connec-
