Track components can become very hot to the touch. It is possible to burn skin if there is
more than brief contact with these components. Wear effective glove and skin protection.
Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or serious burns to personnel.
5. Visually inspect track bushings, links, and pins (Figure 3) for damage and heat discoloration. Also, inspect for
oil leakage in and around the area, which would indicate the track bushings have opened and are leaking
lubricant.
6. If any track bushings, links, or pins have damage, heat discoloration or oil leakage, replace track.
