Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Track weighs approximately 3,000 lb (1,360 kg).
1. If full track was fully removed, Drive machine onto new track.
2. Attach lifting device to rear portion of track (Figure 10, Item 3)
3. Using lifting device, position rear portion of track (Figure 10, Item 3) on machine.
4. Remove lifting device from rear portion of track (Figure 10, Item 3).
5. Attach lifting device to front portion of track (Figure 10, Item 2).
6. Using lifting device, position front portion of track (Figure 10, Item 2) on machine.
7. Install two master links (Figure 10, Item 1) on track (Figure 10, Items 2 and 3).
8. Remove lifting device from front portion of track (Figure 10, Item 2).
