REMOVAL CONTINUED

Engine coolant is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Tag and mark hose and harness connectors to aid installation.
Plug or cap hose and open port.
6. Unlock and disconnect harness connector (Figure 4, Item 2) from temperature sensor (Figure 4, Item 1).
7. Unlock and disconnect harness connector (Figure 4, Item 6) from A/C heater assembly harness connector
(Figure 4, Item 5).
8. Loosen clamp (Figure 4, Item 7) and disconnect duct hose (Figure 4, Item 4) from duct connector (Figure 4,
Item 9).
9. Remove clamp (Figure 4, Item 7) from duct hose (Figure 4, Item 4).
10. Loosen clamp (Figure 4, Item 14) and disconnect upper heater hose (Figure 4, Item 8) from heater core
(Figure 4, Item 3).
11. Remove clamp (Figure 4, Item 14) from upper heater hose (Figure 4, Item 8).
12. Unlock and disconnect harness connector (Figure 4, Item 10) from temperature sensor (Figure 4, Item 13).
13. Disconnect harness connector (Figure 4, Item 11) from actuator (Figure 4, Item 12).
