Tag and mark electrical connectors to aid installation.
21. Disconnect blower motor connector (Figure 20, Item 3) from harness connector (Figure 20, Item 2).
22. Disconnect five connectors (Figure 20, Item 5) from blower motor resistor (Figure 20, Item 7).

Note location of tiedown straps to aid installation.
23. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 20, Item 8) from blower motor harness (Figure 20, Item 6) and wiring harness
(Figure 20, Item 9). Discard tiedown strap.
24. Remove two screws (Figure 20, Item 4) and blower motor resistor (Figure 20, Item 7) from case (Figure 20,
Item 1).
N OT E
Do not cut tiedown strap. Release tiedown strap by pressing tab.
25. Press tab (Figure 20, Item 11) and release tiedown strap (Figure 20, Item 10) from wiring harness (Figure 20,
Item 9).
