Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Remove caps and plugs beforeinstalling hydraulic hose.
Install hydraulic hoses as noted during removal.
Lift cylinder weighs appro imately 100 lb (45 kg).

Do not place fingers inside of lift cylinder during alignment. Failure to do so may result in
injury to personnel.
1. Attach sling and lifting device on lift cylinder (Figure 4, Item 6).
2. Using lifting device and assistance, install lift cylinder (Figure 4, Item 6) on machine.
N OT E
Install spacers as noted during removal.
Do not place fingers inside of lift cylinder during alignment. Failure to do so may result in
injury to personnel.
3. Install pin (Figure 4, Item 14), washer (Figure 4, Item 13), and bolt (Figure 4, Item 12), retaining lift cylinder
(Figure 4, Item 6) on machine.
4. Install spacers (Figure 4, Items 7 and 8), pin (Figure 4, Item 9), retainer (Figure 4, Item 10), and three bolts
(Figure 4, Item 11), retaining lift cylinder (Figure 4, Item 6) on machine.
5. Remove sling and lifting device from lift cylinder (Figure 4, Item 6).
6. Install two new O-rings (Figure 4, Items 2 and 16) on connectors (Figure 4, Items 15 and 1).
7. Connect two hydraulic hoses (Figure 4, Items 5 and 4) to connectors (Figure 4, Items 15 and 1) and tighten
fittings (Figure 4, Items 3 and 17).
