During machine operation if an abnormal condition is detected the machine monitoring system will display the
value on the gauges and illuminate an action indicator. If the abnormal condition is related to an ECM function a
diagnostic code may be set and SERV CODE will appear in the lower display area.

Messenger Monitoring System

The Messenger module receives information from the powertrain ECM, implement ECM, engine ECM, and the ET
tool through the data link communication circuit. The messenger is an on-board monitoring system that displays
ECM diagnostic codes.
