CHANGING ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CONTINUED
10. Open left engine access door. Remove oil filler cap (Figure 3, Item 1). Refer to LO 5-2410-241-13 for correct
amount and type of engine oil. Fill crankcase with new oil. Measure oil level with dipstick (Figure 3, Item 2).
With engine oil cold, remove dipstick and check "ENGINE STOPPED" side of dipstick while engine is stopped.
Maintain oil level between "LOW" mark and "FULL" mark. Install dipstick, start engine, remove dipstick and
check "LOW IDLE" side of dipstick while engine is running. With oil at operating temperature, maintain oil level
between "ADD" mark and "FULL" mark. Install dipstick.
11. Clean and install oil filler cap (Figure 3, Item 1).
12. Close left engine access door.
