FLANGE AND THREADED FITTING TYPE HOSE REMOVAL

Hydraulic hoses, tubes, fittings, and camps are all removed in generally the same
l
method. This procedure covers removal of one hydraulic hose and fitting from machine.
Tag and mark all hoses, tubes, lines, and fittings to aid installation.
Use a container to catch any fluid that maydrain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid
IAW local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
Note routing of hoses and tubes to aid installation.
Cap all hydraulic hose ends along with comp nent connections during removal to protect

This procedure will remo e one hose with flange at one end and threaded fitting at other

end. Follow the same procedure for additional hoses with flanges at one end and threaded
fitting at other end.
1. Remove four bolts (Figure 2, Item 12), washers (Figure 2, Item 11), and hose (Figure 2, Item 5) from pump
(Figure 2, Item 13). Position hose aside.
2. Remove two flanges (Figure 2, Item 10) and O-rings (Figure 2, Item 9) from hose (Figure 2, Item 5). Discard O-
rings.
3. Loosen tube nut (Figure 2, Item 4) and remove hose (Figure 2, Item 5) from fitting (Figure 2, Item 2).
4. Remove fitting (Figure 2, Item 2) and two O-rings (Figure 2, Items 1 and 3) from filter base (Figure 2, Item 14).
Discard O-rings.
5. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 6), washers (Figure 2, Item 7) and clamps (Figure 2, Item 8) from hose
(Figure 2, Item 5).
6. Remove hose (Figure 2, Item 5) from machine.
