1. Turn engine start switch (Figure 1, Item 2) to ON position, but do not start engine.
2. Verify hydraulic lockout switch (Figure 1, Item 4) is not activated (TM 5-2410-241-10).
3. Relieve hydraulic system pressure by moving steering control lever (Figure 1, Item 1), bulldozer control lever
(Figure 1, Item 3), and ripper/winch control lever through full range of travel several times.
4. Turn engine start switch (Figure 1, Item 2) to OFF position.
