REMOVAL CONTINUED
3. Loosen bolt (Figure 2, Item 5) from door striker (Figure 2, Item 1).
WARN I N G
Springs may have significant spring tension, depending upon type or position of spring.
Use extreme caution when removing springs. Springs under tension can act as projectiles
when released and could result in severe injury to personnel.
4. Remove spring (Figure 2, Item 4) from bolt (Figure 2, Item 3) and bracket (Figure 2, Item 7).
N OT E
Note and mark position of nut and bolt to aid installation.
5. Loosen nut (Figure 2, Item 2) and tighten bolt (Figure 2, Item 3) in door striker (Figure 2, Item 1).
6. Remove door striker (Figure 2, Item 1) from shaft (Figure 2, Item 6) and bracket (Figure 2, Item 7).
