Refrigerant identifier will pevent other refrigerants from contaminating R-134a recovery

and charging tools. Refrigerant identifier will also detect percentage of air that may be in
A/C system.
If service is required on A/C system, refigerant must be recovered before A/C system
r
components are removed.
1. Use refrigerant identifier to ensure refrigerant in A/C system is R-134a.
2. Install blue low-side hose (Figure 1, Item 4) on suction (low) side (Figure 1, Item 3) of A/C compressor
(Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Install red high-side hose (Figure 1, Item 1) on discharge (high) side (Figure 1, Item 2) of A/C compressor
(Figure 1, Item 5).
4. Follow recovery station OEM instructions and recover R-134a refrigerant.
