1. Turn ignition switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Disconnect E-C13 (WP 0018,
Figure 112) harness connector
from G-C1 (WP 0018, Figure
173) at valve cover base.
3. Turn ignition switch to ON
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
N OT E
Wait at least 30 seconds for diagnostic codes to become active.
Other fuel injector diagnostic codes may also set, ignore those
codes during this procedure.
4. Start engine or attempt to start
engine (TM 5-2410-240-10).
5. At MSD, check that diagnostic
0003-05 Becomes Active - ECM
code 0003-05 is active
and harness are OK, proceed to
Test Step 3.
0003-06 Remains Active - Pro-
ceed to step 6.
6. Turn ignition and battery dis-
connect switch to OFF posi-
tion (TM 5-2410-240-10).
7. Disconnect ECM harness con-
nector E-C1 (WP 0018,
Figure 102) from engine ECM
