1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Remove front floor plate from
machine (WP 0205).
3. Disconnect engine wiring har-
ness connector EN-C50 (WP
0018, Figure 140) from platform
wiring harness connector PL-C32
(WP 0018, Figure 232) (WP
0046).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
Code 1885-06 Remains Active - Pro-
5. Check for active code 1885-05 or
ceed to Test Step 4.
1885-06 in machine control D6K
ECM (WP 0016).
Code 1885-06 Becomes Inactive
and 1885-05 Becomes Active -
Replace engine wiring harness (WP
0046).
Connect pump wiring harness con-
nector PH-C9 on reel-out solenoid
(WP 0018, Figure 213) (WP 0267).
Install rear bottom guards on machine
(WP 0156).
Proceed to step 6.
6. Using MSD (WP 0016), select
Code 1885-06 Active - Repeat trou-
machine control D6K ECM and
bleshooting code from the beginning.
verify 1885-06 is not active.
Code 1885-06 Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 4. Test F868-PK Reel-Out
Solenoid Supply Circuit for Short
to Other Circuits in Platform Wiring
Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Disconnect platform wiring har-
ness connector PL-C2 (WP 0018,
Figure 215) from equipment ECM
(WP 0148).
