Transmission Drive Pump Pressure Override Calibration

WARN I N G
The tracks will move duringthis procedure. Keep all personnel away from machine during
procedure.
Provide adequate support and use assistance during procedure.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
This calibration is used to identify relief pressures in drive loops of hydrostatic transmission which allows
transmission control to optimize hydraulic pressure in drive loops. Pressures that are too low will affect
performance of machine. Pressures that are too high can damage components in hydrostatic transmission. This
calibration determines maximum pressure that ECM should allow drive pressure to reach and checks range of
pressure to ensure pressure is within acceptable range. Machine must be supported and tracks off ground to
perform this test.

It may be necessary to cycle the parking brake switch before reverse test will continue
with calibration.
Transmission will be automatically operated in FORWARD and in REVERSE for at least 30 seconds in each
direction between consecutive pressure override calibrations.
Hystat Pump and Motor Solenoid Calibration

WARN I N G

procedure.
Provide adequate support and use assistance during procedure.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
Forward pump and motor solenoid calibration determines minimum and maximum solenoid currents for left and
right forward pump and motor solenoids. Reverse pump solenoid calibration determines minimum and maximum
currents for left and right reverse pump solenoids. Minimum currents for forward and reverse solenoids on left and
right pumps are defined as minimum current needed to move tracks. Maximum currents for forward and reverse
solenoids on left and right pumps are defined as maximum current required to fully stroke pumps. Minimum current
for left and right motor solenoids is the solenoid current required to start de-stroking motor. Maximum current for
left and right motor solenoids is the solenoid current needed to achieve a predetermined machine speed. This
calibration is for the following components:
Forward and Reverse Pump Solenoids.
Motor Solenoids.
