CALIBRATION

The following calibrations may be performed for components on machine ECM:
Transmission Drive Pump Pressure Override Calibration.
Hystat Pump and Motor Solenoid Calibration.
Operator Control Calibrations (Hystat).
Calibration of a component reporting to machine ECM allows ECM to determine correct output level. Calibration
also allows ECM to determine correct input signal of displacement of a given lever. Many components, which are
connected to machine ECM, can be calibrated using the MSD and ET. Perform the following steps to access
calibration procedures for machine ECM:
Machine must be supported and tracks OFF ground to perform this test (WP 0281).
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Connect MSD to machine (WP 0016).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch to ON position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
4. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Start ET and select machine control ECM.
N OT E
Wait at least 30 seconds for diagnostic codes to become active.
5. Monitor active diagnostic codes with ET.
6. Observe and record any active diagnostic codes. If diagnostic codes are set, refer to WP 0013.
