20. Unlatch and open upper radiator grill (Figure 9, Item 4).
21. Remove four bolts (Figure 9, Item 1) and washers (Figure 9, Item 2) retaining cooling module (Figure 9,
Item 3) on machine.
22. Close and latch upper radiator grill (Figure 9, Item 4).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Cooling module and core assembly weigh approximately 814 lb (369 kg).
23. Using lifting device and assistance, remove cooling module (Figure 9, Item 3) from machine. Place cooling
module front down on flat level surface.
24. Remove lifting device from cooling module (Figure 9, Item 3).
