Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
When replacing engine, ensure new engine is configured correctly.
Engine weighs approximately 1,715 lb (778 kg).
2. Install lifting device on engine.
3. Using lifting device, remove engine from jack stands and install engine in machine.
4. Install 12 washers (Figure 5, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 5, Item 1) on housing (Figure 5, Item 3).
