Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
The following procedure is for right sprocket segment. Use the same procedure for left
sprocket segment.
Sprocket segment weighs approximately 94 lb (42 kg).
1. Remove 27 nuts (Figure 1, Item 1) and bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) from sprocket (Figure 1, Item 3).
2. With assistance, remove sprocket (Figure 1, Item 3) from final drive unit (Figure 1, Item 4) and lower onto flat
surface.
