7. Remove two O-rings (Figure 3, Item 1) and ring (Figure 3, Item 5) from machine. Discard O-rings and ring.

Note order and orientation of friction disks and plates to aid installation.
8. Remove four friction disks (Figure 3, Item 4) and three plates (Figure 3, Item 2) from machine.
9. Remove two guide studs (Figure 3, Item 6) and shaft (Figure 3, Item 3) from machine.
