Inspect oil for metal shavings. If metal shavings exist replace final drive (WP 0119).
Final drive oil capacity is approximately 4 gal. (15L) of oil.
2. Clean area around final drive, position drain pan, and remove inner drain plug (Figure 1, Item 1) from machine
Allow oil to completely drain.
3. Clean area around final drive, position drain pan, and remove outer drain plug (Figure 1, Item 3) from machine.
Allow oil to completely drain.
4. Inspect drained oil for metal shavings. If metal shavings exist, replace final drive (WP 0119).
5. Install inner drain plug (Figure 1, Item 1) and outer drain plug (Figure 1, Item 3) on machine. Torque plugs to
122144 lb-ft (165-195 Nm).
N OT E
DO NOT overfill the fluid. If fluid starts to flow out of reservoir, STOP IMMEDIATELY to
avoid spillage. Immediately clean up spilled fluid before proceeding with any task.
Final drive oil capacity is approximately 4 gal. (15L) of oil.
6. Remove fill plug (Figure 1, Item 2) and fill final drive until oil reaches bottom of threaded orifice (LO 5-2410-
240-13).
7. Install fill plug (Figure 1, Item 2) on machine. Torque fill plug to 122144 lb-ft (165-195 Nm).
