1. Position terminal boot covers (Figure 1, Item 8) aside.
2. Loosen two nuts (Figure 1, Item 1) and remove positive battery cable (Figure 1, Item 3) from battery posts
(Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 4), spacer (Figure 1, Item 5), bracket clamp (Figure 1, Item 6), and two battery
hold-down brackets (Figure 1, Item 7) from batteries (Figure 1, Item 9).
