If equipped with arctic kit heater, perform steps 4 through 6. If not equipped with arctic kit
heater, proceed to step 7.
4. Remove two tiedown straps (Figure 2, Item 2) from two terminal covers (Figure 2, Item 1).
5. Position two terminal covers (Figure 2, Item 1) aside.
6. Remove two nuts (Figure 2, Item 4), washers (Figure 2, Item 5), and battery cables (Figure 2, Item 3) from
battery terminals (Figure 2, Item 6).

7. Loosen two nuts (Figure 3, Item 1) and remove battery terminals (Figure 3, Item 2) from batteries (Figure 3,
Item 3).
8. Remove batteries (Figure 3, Item 3) from machine.
