LOWER RADIATOR GRILL REMOVAL

1. Unlatch and open upper radiator grill (TM 5-2410-240-10).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to
personnel.
N OT E
Lower radiator grill weighs approximately 70 lb (32 kg).
2. Remove two nuts (Figure 4, Item 4), washers (Figure 4, Item 5), bolts (Figure 4, Item 8), and washers
(Figure 4, Item 7) from retaining lower radiator grill (Figure 4, Item 1) on radiator guard (Figure 4, Item 3).
3. Turn latch handle (Figure 4, Item 2) and open lower radiator grill (Figure 4, Item 1).
4. With assistance, remove lower radiator grill (Figure 4, Item 1) and two washers (Figure 4, Item 6) from radiator
guard (Figure 4, Item 3).
