17. If arctic kit heater equipped, measure 13.7 in. (350 mm) down from center of bracket on hood support
(Figure 9, Item 1) and mark hood support.
18. If arctic kit heater equipped, measure 11.8 in. (300 mm) down from mark made in step 17, and mark location
on hood support.
19. If arctic kit heater equipped, prepare site IAW welding procedures found in TC 9-237.
20. If arctic kit heater equipped, weld one boss (Figure 9, Item 5) on each mark of hood support (Figure 9, Item 1).
21. If arctic kit heater equipped, preserve site IAW welding procedures found in TC 9-237.
