DO NOT disconnect or remove any hydraulic system hoses, tubes, or fittings unless
engine is shut down and hydraulic system pressure has been relieved. Tighten all
connections before applying pressure. Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can
penetrate skin.
At operating temperature, hydraulic oil is hot. Allow hydraulic oil to cool before removing
any hydraulic fitting.
Wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Lubricating/hydraulic oils used in perfomance of maintenance can be very slippery.

Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.

Cap or plug all hydraulic hose ends and fittings during removal to protect against
contamination. Failure to follow this caution may result in damage to equipment.

Tag and mark hydraulic hoses and fittingsand note hose routing to aid installation.
This procedure covers removal of angle cylin er from left side of machine. Follow same
d
procedure when removing angle cylinder from right side of machine.
1. Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 7), washers (Figure 1, Item 6), and bracket (Figure 1, Item 5) from angle
cylinder (Figure 1, Item 8). Position bracket upside down on machine.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 9), washer (Figure 1, Item 10), bolt (Figure 1, Item 2), washer (Figure 1, Item 1),
and clamp (Figure 1, Item 3) from bracket (Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Disconnect hose (Figure 1, Item 4) from bracket (Figure 1, Item 5) and position hose aside.
4. Remove bracket (Figure 1, Item 5) from machine.
