Ripper shank weighs approximately 52 lb (24 kg).
Perform the following procedure to install on tooth. Use the same procedure to install

other teeth.
1. With assistance, install shank (Figure 1, Item 8), pin (Figure 1, Item 2), and two new cotter pins (Figure 1,
Item 1) on ripper assembly (Figure 1, item 3).
N OT E
Install retainer as noted during removal.
2. Install new retainer (Figure 1, Item 5) on shank (Figure 1, Item 4).
N OT E
Install tip as noted during removal.
3. Install tip (Figure 1, Item 7) and new pin (Figure 1, Item 6) on shank (Figure 1, Item 4).
