maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid
with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any
component containing fluids.
Dispose of all fluids accordingto local regulations and mandates.
TRANSMISSION SCAVENGE SCREEN SERVICE

1. Remove four bolts (Figure 2, Item 1) and transmission scavenge screen cover (Figure 2, Item 2) from
transmission (Figure 2, Item 3). Drain oil into suitable container.
2. Remove gasket (Figure 2, Item 5) from transmission scavenge screen cover (Figure 2, Item 2). Discard
gasket.
3. Wash screen (Figure 2, Item 4) and transmission scavenge screen cover (Figure 2, Item 2) in nonflammable
solvent.
4. Install new gasket (Figure 2, Item 5) on transmission scavenge screen cover (Figure 2, Item 2).
5. Install screen (Figure 2, Item 4), transmission scavenge screen cover (Figure 2, Item 2), and four bolts
(Figure 2, Item 1) on transmission (Figure 2, Item 3).

6. Clean transmission magnetic screen - clean in PMCS (WP 0039).
7. Clean torque converter scavenge screen - clean in PMCS (WP 0039).
8. Change transmission oil filter (WP 0152).
9. Check and fill transmission fluid level per this work package.
