HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL CHANGE CONTINUED
1. Operate machine 30 minutes in order to warm oil.
2. Park machine on level ground. Lower bulldozer blade to ground and apply slight downward pressure. Engage
parking brake and stop engine.
3. Remove hydraulic tank filler cap (Figure 1, Item 1) slowly to relieve pressure.
4. Remove retainer ring (Figure 1, Item 4) from oil filler tube (Figure 1, Item 3).
5. Remove strainer (Figure 1, Item 5) from oil filler tube (Figure 1, Item 3). Wash strainer in a clean nonflammable
solvent.
6. Inspect the seal (Figure 1, Item 2) on filler cap (Figure 1, Item 1). Replace seal if damaged.
