1. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Using digital multimeter (WP
Voltage Greater Than 0.3 Volts -
0283), measure for voltage
Replace platform wiring harness: with
between PL-C4 terminal 67 (WP
Ripper (WP 0150): with Winch (WP
0018, Figure 217) and ground.

Proceed to step 3.
Voltage 0.3 Volts or Lower - Replace
machine ECM: with Ripper (WP
0147); with Winch (WP 0149).
Connect platform wiring harness con-
nector PL-C2 (WP 0018, Figure 215)
on equipment ECM (WP 0148).
Connect platform wiring harness con-
nector PL-C18 (WP 0018, Figure 226)
on chassis wiring harness connector
CH-C1 (WP 0018, Figure 81): with
Ripper (WP 0147); with Winch (WP
0155).
Proceed to step 3.
3. Using MSD (WP 0016), select
Code 1198-03 Active - Repeat trou-
machine control D6K ECM and
bleshooting code from the beginning.
verify 1198-03 is not active.
Code 1198-03 Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
