Always inspect harness connectors thatare involved in the circuit. Poor
Normal
connections can often be the cause of an electrical circuit problem. Ver-
ify that all connections in circuit are clean and secure, and connections
are in good condition. If problem with connection is found, correct the
problem and verify diagnostic code is active before performing this pro-
cedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Tag wiring harnesses to aid installation.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
Test Step 1. Test for Shorted Winch
Oil Pressure Sensor.
machine control D6K ECM and
verify 2441-04 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
3. Remove rear bottom guards from
machine (WP 0156).
harness connector WC-C4 from
winch oil pressure sensor (WP
0018, Figure 251) (WP 0136).
5. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
6. Check for active code 2441-03 or
Code 2441-04 Remains Active - Pro-
2441-04 in machine control D6K
ceed to Test Step 2.
Code 2441-04 Becomes Inactive
and 2441-03 Becomes Active -
Replace winch oil pressure sensor
(WP 0136).
Proceed to step 7.
Code 2441-04 Active - Repeat trou-
machine control D6K ECM and
bleshooting code from the beginning.
verify 2441-04 is not active.
Code 2441-04 Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
