5. Start and run engine at high idle (TM 5-2410-240-10) until hydraulic oil temperature reaches 104F 18F
(40C 10C).
WARN I N G
Wear effective eye, hand, and skin protection when performing this task. Failure to follow
this warning may cause injury to personnel.
6. Point Photo Tac at reflective tape.
7. Monitor and record fan speed. Fan speed should be 7002,050 rpm.
a. If RPM is less than 700 rpm, proceed to Fan Speed Calibration procedure and select minimum calibration.
b. If RPM is more than 2,050 rpm, proceed to Fan Speed Calibration procedure and select maximum
calibration.
c.
If RPM is within 700 to 2,050 rpm, no fan speed adjustment is needed.
