HYDRAULIC COOLING FAN OPERATION

1. Park machine (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Install ET and verify 0110-03, 0110-04, 0295-05, and 0295-05 diagnostic codes are not active. Diagnose if
codes are active.
3. Check cooling fan for correct operation.
a. If cooling fan operates slowly, check the following:
(1) Oil supply line for kinks, restrictions, and blockage.
(2) Demand fan manifold (Figure 5, Item 2) for blockage.
(3) Stuck demand fan manifold solenoid (Figure 5, Item 1).
(4) Perform Hydraulic Cooling Fan Calibration in this work package.
b. If cooling fan operates fast, verify circuits to demand fan manifold are not shorted.
