6. Position master link (Figure 4, Item 2) to align with center of rear idler (Figure 4, Item 3).
N OT E
Track should be firmly against blocking.
7. Install suitable blocking (Figure 4, Item 5) against track (Figure 4, Item 4) to support tracks.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Track shoe weighs approximately 85 lb (40 kg).
Note position and size of bolts to aid installation.
8. With assistance, remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 6) and track shoe (Figure 4, Item 1) from machine.
