WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Track weighs approximately 5,750 lb (2,600 kg).
1. Install lifting device to upper track (Figure 6, Item 1).
2. Align track to rollers and pull track (Figure 6, Item 1) on from front or back of machine.
N OT E
Track should be firmly against blocking.
3. Install blocking (Figure 6, Item 3) on lower track (Figure 6, Item 1).
4. Using lifting device, install upper track (Figure 6, Item 1) on final drive (Figure 6, Item 2).
5. Turn final drive (Figure 6, Item 2) in reverse while supporting track (Figure 6, Item 1) with lifting device.
6. Connect track links (Figure 6, Item 4).
7. Remove lifting device from track (Figure 6, Item 1).
