Note cable routing to aid installation.
Tag and mark all electrical connections to aid installation.
9. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 5, Item 5) from alternator cable (Figure 5, Item 1). Discard tiedown strap.
10. Remove nut (Figure 5, Item 3), washer (Figure 5, Item 4), and alternator cable (Figure 5, Item 1) from
alternator (Figure 5, Item 2).
11. Position alternator cable (Figure 5, Item 1) aside.
12. Remove two nuts (Figure 5, Item 7), washers (Figure 5, Item 6) and clamps (Figure 5, Item 8) from alternator
cable (Figure 5, Item 1).
13. Remove alternator cable (Figure 5, Item 1) from machine.
