1. Remove terminal lock (Figure 8, Item 1) from housing (Figure 8, Item 7).
2. Slide shell (Figure 8, Item 5) back on harness (Figure 8, Item 6) to expose seal (Figure 8, Item 4).
3. Slide seal (Figure 8, Item 4) back from housing (Figure 8, Item 7).

One terminal shown. Repeat steps for other terminals.
4. Remove terminal (Figure 8, Item 2) from housing (Figure 8, Item 7).
5. If defective, remove terminal (Figure 8, Item 2) from wire (Figure 8, Item 3) by cutting through wire (Figure 8,
Item 3) just behind terminal.

Perform steps 6 and 7 only if terminal was removed.
6. Using wire stripping tool, strip insulation from wire (Figure 9, Item 1) equal to depth of terminal (Figure 9,
Item 2).
7. Using crimping tool, securely crimp terminal (Figure 9, Item 2) on wire (Figure 9, Item 1).
