1. Remove terminal lock (Figure 5, Item 1) from housing (Figure 5, Item 2).
2. Slide shell (Figure 5, Item 7) back on harness (Figure 5, Item 8) to expose seal (Figure 5, Item 6).
3. Slide seal (Figure 5, Item 6) back from housing (Figure 5, Item 3).
N OT E
One terminal shown. Repeat steps for other terminals.
4. Remove terminal (Figure 5, Item 4) from housing (Figure 5, Item 3).
5. If defective, cut wire (Figure 5, Item 5) just behind terminal (Figure 5, Item 4) and remove terminal. Discard
terminal.
