0100-03 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
Test Step 1: Test 5-Volt and
Voltage Above Normal
Return Circuit.
N OT E
Always inspect harness connectors that are involved in the
circuit. Poor connections can often be the cause of an electrical
circuit problem. Verify that all connections in circuit are clean and
secure, and connections are in good condition. If a problem with
connection is found, correct problem and verify diagnostic code
is active before performing this procedure.
Tag wiring harnesses to aid installation.
Select engine ECM C6.6 D6K
and verify 0100-03 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
3. Disconnect engine oil pres-

4. Install jumper wire between
engine oil pressure sensor
harness connector E-C5
nal 1 and terminal 2.
5. Turn ignition switch to ON
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
N OT E
Wait at least 30 seconds for diagnostic codes to become active.
0262-04 Becomes Active -
Proceed to Test Step 2.

Test Step 2: Test Signal Circuit.
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Remove jumper wire from E-
minal 1 and terminal 2.
3. Install jumper wire between
engine oil pressure sensor
harness connector E-C5
nal 3 and terminal 2.
