6. Install fluid passage bolt (Figure 9, Item 4) and new washer (Figure 9, Item 5) on fuel tube (Figure 9, Item 3),
and new washer (Figure 9, Item 2) on fuel injector pump (Figure 9, Item 1).

7. If fuel injectors were disconnected, connect fuel injector harness connectors (WP 0052).

INJECTOR TRIM FILE

The MSD and ET are used to load fuel injector trim files for the injectors into the engine ECM. Trim files must be
loaded into ECM if any of the following conditions occur:
An injector is replaced.
Engine ECM is replaced.
"Injector Trim" is displayed below a diagnostic code 0268-02 on ET.
Injectors are exchanged between cylinders.
Exchanging injectors can help determine if a fault is in injector or cylinder. If two injectors that are currently installed
in the engine are exchanged between cylinders, trim files must also be exchanged between cylinders. Press the
EXCHANGE button at the bottom of the Injector Trim Calibration screen on ET. Highlight two injectors that will be
exchanged and select OK button. A "tattletale" on ET will increase by one for injectors that were exchanged.
Injector serial numbers and the injector confirmation codes are located on body of injector. ET may require entry of
injector confirmation code during this process. If necessary, ET will prompt you for code. Refer to WP 0003 for
detailed description of fuel injector system.
