REMOVAL CONTINUED
4. Position boot (Figure 2, Item 2) on negative battery cable (Figure 2, Item 1) aside.
N OT E
Arctic kit negative battery cable shown for machines equipped with arctic kit.
Tag cables to aid installation.
5. Remove nut (Figure 2, Item 4), lockwasher (Figure 2, Item 3), negative battery cable (Figure 2, Item 1) and
arctic kit ground battery cable (Figure 2, Item 16) from battery disconnect switch (Figure 2, Item 5). Discard
lockwasher.
6. Remove tiedown strap (Figure 2, Item 8) from receptacle ground cable (Figure 2, Item 9). Discard tiedown
strap.
7. Remove nut (Figure 2, Item 7), lockwasher (Figure 2, Item 6), receptacle ground cable (Figure 2, Item 9) and
ground cable (Figure 2, Item 10) from battery disconnect switch (Figure 2, Item 5). Discard lockwasher.
8. Remove battery disconnect switch (Figure 2, Item 5) from machine.
9. Remove four bolts (Figure 2, Item 13), washers (Figure 2, Item 14), receptacle ground cable (Figure 2, Item 9)
and junction block power cable (Figure 2, Item 11) from front battery box cover (Figure 2, Item 15).
