Test Step 1 - Ground Cables Continued

6. Using digital multimeter, measure voltage between positive post (Figure 4, Item 1) and machine ground. Volt-
age should be less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 3.
a. If voltage is more than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 3, replace ground cable (Figure 4, Item 6) from
disconnect switch (Figure 4, Item 4) to frame (WP 0142).
b. If voltage is less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 3, machine negative battery cables are OK. Pro-
ceed to next step to check other ground cables.
