Test Step 1 - Ground Cables Continued

10. Release two latches (Figure 7, Item 2) on arctic heater battery cover (Figure 7, Item 1).
11. With an assistant, remove arctic heater battery cover (Figure 7, Item 1) from machine.
12. Disconnect arctic heater negative battery cable (Figure 7, Item 3) at arctic battery (Figure 7, Item 4).
13. Using digital multimeter, measure voltage between arctic heater negative battery cable (Figure 7, Item 3) and
positive post (Figure 7, Item 5) of battery (Figure 7, Item 6). Voltage should be less than 1-Volt from value
recorded in step 3.
a. If voltage is more than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 3, replace arctic heater negative battery cable
(Figure 7, Item 3) (WP 0282).
b. If voltage is less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 3, proceed to Test Step 2.
14. With an assistant, install arctic heater battery cover (Figure 7, Item 1), and install two latches (Figure 7, Item 2)
on arctic heater battery cover.
