6. Remove cover (Figure 12, Item 1) from NATO slave receptacle (Figure 12, Item 3).
7. Using digital multimeter, measure voltage between inner contact (Figure 12, Item 2) (positive point) of NATO
slave receptacle (Figure 12, Item 3) and machine ground. Voltage should be less than 1-Volt from value
recorded in step 1.
a. If voltage is more than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 1, replace positive battery cable (Figure 12,
Item 4) (WP 0046) between starter and NATO slave receptacle (Figure 12, Item 3).
b. If voltage is less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 1, install cover (Figure 12, Item 1) on NATO slave
receptacle (Figure 12, Item 3) and proceed to next step.
