8. Using digital multimeter, measure voltage between alternator positive cable end (Figure 13, Item 1) and
machine ground. Voltage should be less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 1.
a. If voltage is more than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 1, replace alternator positive cable (Figure 13,
Item 3) (WP 0145) between alternator (Figure 13, Item 2) and fuse panel (Figure 13, Item 4).
b. If voltage is less than 1-Volt from value recorded in step 1, proceed to next step.
