Ensure timing marks on gears are in alignment and mesh of gears are correct.
1. Install fuel injection pump gear (Figure 13, Item 3) on fuel injection pump shaft (Figure 13, Item 4). Ensure
timing marks on camshaft gear (Figure 13, Item 1), idler gear (Figure 13, Item 5), and fuel injection pump gear
(Figure 13, Item 2) are in alignment and mesh is correct.
